There is probably no British artist held in greater affection than Lowry. His art is firmly rooted in a place and time where he was considered to be both peculiar local artist and quintessential painter of modern life. The modern world Lowry perceived had a very specific texture, architecture and light in which he found a kind of beauty.
Although the market has fluctuated over the last 20 years there is currently a very strong demand for Lowry's paintings amongst a new generation of collectors. We are currently advising a number of clients and have recently collaborated successfully to place several paintings by Lowry.
